Our Heart

Our vision for this service at Sparrow Fellowship is based on Psalm 84:3: “Even the sparrow has found a home…where she may have her young,...a place near to your altar O Lord Almighty, my King and my God.”

For years my wife and I have wanted to provide a church home for families—both whole and broken, the unchurched, and for those disillusioned with religion. The best model to serve this need, we believe, is in a simple, casual, Christ-centered church that attracts people to Jesus Christ through biblical fellowship and authentic relationships in an atmosphere of grace.

When my wife and I visited Sparrow a few years ago, we were very drawn to the strong sense that the Lords presence was here. We feel we have grown in our individual walks with the Lord and also in relationships with people. There is also a great wednesday nite group that gets together for prayer and teaching and fellowship. You can go as deep as you want or take it slow. try us out some sunday morning.......Tom Gregg

Ruthann and I attended "Sparrow Fellowship" to "just visit" 3 years ago. The day before had been a day of one misadventure after misadventure. As Scott started the message that Sunday he said something like "Did you ever have a day where nothing seemed to go right?". We both looked at each other and asked did he follow us around yesterday? We both felt that God was calling us to a new place of worship. We also feel that we are growing in our walk with Jesus and taking our faith to another level of living it out each day. We enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the contemporary services and the fellowship is very friendly. If you are looking for a place to call your church home, you have found it. Hope to see you soon.
